I wish I would have known Dr. Leila Ostovar-Kermani years ago when I had started having an issue under my feet. After frustration with KP, I found her and I felt so comfortable talking about my issue. She took the time explaining everything and the different options and what would be best for me. She is very knowledgeable and nice, and her staff is supportive and friendly.

Dr Ostovar-Kermani took over the podiatry office formerly run by Jeffrey Amen, who had been a Novato podiatrist for many years. I did not expect to like anyone as much as I liked Dr Amen, but Dr Leila Ostovar-Kermani is just as gentle, thorough, experienced and professional as her predecessor. I appreciate the extra time she spends to answer questions as well as her gentle touch. I recommend her very highly and hope she has a long and successful career here in Novato. It’s so refreshing to have a doctor who isn’t rushing off to the next patient—she schedules enough time for each patient, and I appreciate it!

Dr. Leila Ostovar-Kermani is the best there is! I had a fracture of my 5th metatarsal while traveling, and was getting inconsistent readings of the X-rays I had from the local drs about how serious the injury was and if I should expect complications. I was stressed to say the least, and not confident about anything I was hearing. Dr Ostovar-Kermani helped me understand the differences in the diagnosis and treatments accordingly, eased my worries, and continued her support through a lengthy healing process. Cant say enough good things about her!

Dr Kermani has the best "bedside manner". She is the perfect blend of being highly skilled AND being very personable. My feet and I are always happy whenever we visit Dr Kermani.. Also a shout out to Sally. She is great.

I went to see Dr. Ostovar-Kermani to remove something from my foot. Turns out I stepped on glass or a pebble that embedded itself. She was great. Explained what she was going to do, then painlessly took care of me.. So glad she took over Dr Amens practice. I dont need to look further for a Podiatrist to look after my families needs.

I love this office and Dr Kermani! She is very competent, caring and kind. I like the office assistant, Sally, because she listens to your questions and gets you into the office or to the X-ray facility ASAP! I couldn’t recommend this practice more.

In moving to a new area, for a senior citizen, the medical infrastructure can be a source of great comfort and reassurance or the opportunity to participate in a game of chance with dire consequences to your health. The best source of information is someone in the medical profession who knows the lay of the land and who knows you. That's how we found Dr. Jeffrey Amen, via the recommendations of two PCP's. He was fantastic. Then, too soon, he retired. We took a chance. Would the doctor who took over his practice have the same skills combined with warmth and friendliness? The answer, and the reason for my recommendation, is yes. YES, YES! His successor, whom he chose, is Dr. Leila Osovar-Kermani, and she carries forward the caliber of service combined with friendliness, that we thought we would never find again. I am a retired physician, and not the average consumer. I am particularly critical of less than the ideal in the practitioners of health care, highly critical of bureaucracy that distances doctor from patient. In her sparkling clean, easily accessible office, with loads of parking, there she is, exactly on time, and without muss or fuss, she performs her examination while making you feel totally comfortable and welcome. Without reservation, you will enjoy skillful, attentive care in her hands, and leave the office with a new respect for what healthcare, in the right hands, can be. She is a real find. Thank you PCP's and Dr. Amen!

We saw Dr. Kermani for my 10 year old. She was fantastic with her. Her office is clean, follows covid protocols and you are in and out on time. Highly recommend her if you are looking for a caring, and knowledgeable doctor.
